Before you begin, check whether your book is eligible for a BookBub Author Profile.

BookBub currently says Author Profile claims are limited to authors with ebooks published on supported U.S. retailers: Amazon, Apple, Barnes & Noble, Google, or Kobo. Prepare your author name, the email address you want to use for the Partner Dashboard, your ebook title, ASIN or ISBN if available, and the retailer links where the ebook is listed.

First, go to the official BookBub Partners sign-up page.

Create your account with an email address and password, then complete the sign-up form. Choose Author as your partner type. If you later do not see the option to manage or claim an Author Profile, BookBub says to check My Account in the Dashboard and make sure your partner type is set to Author.

BookBub Author Profiles are not the same as general author pages on every retailer.

BookBub says it can only list ebooks on its website, and its current Author Profile guidance is tied to ebooks available through supported U.S. retailers.

If you use multiple pen names, BookBub says each additional author name needs a separate Partner Dashboard account with a separate email address.
