Create a BookBub Author Page
Use BookBub’s Partner Dashboard to claim an eligible Author Profile, connect ebooks and keep public author and book information accurate.
Why a BookBub Author Profile Matters
Help readers find a clearer author profile
A BookBub Author Profile gives readers a central place to see your author biography, profile image and eligible ebooks listed on BookBub.
Manage the details BookBub lets authors update
After BookBub approves the claim, authors can update their biography, profile picture, eligible ebooks, book data and available retailer links through the Partner Dashboard.
Understand how New Release Alerts work
For qualifying new ebooks, BookBub may send New Release Alerts to readers who follow the author. The ebook must be added to the Author Profile before, on or within seven days after release. New Release Alerts are currently sent to US members.
Check whether Preorder Alerts apply
Preorder Alerts are available to authors with at least 1,000 total followers. Eligible partners can schedule alerts before release under BookBub’s current timing rules.
Keep your public BookBub details accurate
A claimed and well-maintained profile keeps the author biography, profile image, eligible ebooks and retailer links clear for readers who visit the BookBub page.
Before You Start
Before you begin, confirm that your book is eligible for a BookBub Author Profile.
BookBub currently allows Author Profile claims for authors with ebooks published on one of its supported US retailers: Amazon, Apple, Barnes & Noble, Google or Kobo.
Prepare your author name, the email address for the Partner Dashboard, the ebook title, ASIN or ISBN where available, and the retailer links where the ebook is listed.
CREATE A BOOKBUB PARTNER DASHBOARD ACCOUNT
Go to the official BookBub Partners sign-up page.
Create the account using an email address and password, then complete the sign-up form. Choose Author as the partner type.
If the option to manage or claim an Author Profile does not appear, open My Account in the Partner Dashboard and confirm that the partner type is set to Author.
Complete the signup and sign in to the Partner Dashboard.

Profile Tips After Approval
After approval, use the Partner Dashboard to keep the author biography, profile image, eligible ebook listings and retailer links accurate.
Review each ebook individually and submit book-data updates through BookBub’s available tools.
Authors using multiple author names should manage each Author Profile through its corresponding Partner Dashboard account.
REVIEW YOUR AUTHOR PROFILE
Add a clear author biography and profile photograph. Confirm that each eligible ebook is connected to the correct Author Profile.
Review your eligible ebooks and book details
Check that each eligible ebook has the correct cover, description, author name, genre information, and retailer links where BookBub allows those details to be updated or requested.
Review reader-facing signals carefully
Review the public details readers see first: author bio, profile image, eligible ebooks, genre choices, book descriptions, covers, and retailer links. Keep changes accurate, relevant, and consistent with the book’s public records.
Polish the visible book and profile details
Double-check the author name, eligible ebook listings, cover, description, genres, and retailer links. The goal is to make the public BookBub record clearer and more accurate for readers.
